Today I lead the team behind our learning management system, Moodle LMS, across three campuses and 20,000+ users. I have also worked in Canvas and Blackboard, plus 14+ years of Ellucian Banner and seven in Colleague.
Who I Am
I like being the person people call when the work gets complicated.
A system is not working the way it should. A team is trying to figure out what comes next. Leadership needs to make a technology decision. Someone has a good idea but no clear path for building it. AI suddenly changed what is possible and everyone is trying to separate what is useful from what is noise.
That is usually where I come in. And I genuinely enjoy it.
I have spent more than 15 years working across higher education, technology, learning, multimedia, enterprise systems, and digital development. The longer I do this work, the more I appreciate being able to see across those boundaries instead of working inside only one of them.

More than 10 years editing in Premiere Pro and After Effects, shooting, producing, and sharing video through Kaltura, MediaSpace, and Panopto.
AIEmerging technology
I lead institutional AI strategy, governance, and responsible adoption, and I build AI-powered solutions that keep people in control. I do not want to lead technology from a distance.
How I lead
I lead with a lot of trust and a clear expectation that people should have room to be good at what they do. I ask questions. I listen. I pay attention to where people are getting stuck. I am comfortable saying something is not working, but I am much more interested in figuring out what we can do about it.
A lot of my work requires influence rather than authority. People need context, they need to understand why something matters, and they need to trust the process and the people leading it.
What connects it all
Higher education. Enrollment. Student systems. Digital learning. Instructional design. Multimedia. AI. Enterprise technology. Product development. Leadership. To me, it has never felt disconnected.
It is people, systems, learning, and possibility.
I like making things work better, helping people see what is possible, and I still get a ridiculous amount of joy from watching an idea become real.
