Who I Am
The person people call when technology needs to make sense.
I’m the relational bridge in the room: consultant, translator, and thought partner. When the issue is complicated, a technology investment, a vendor decision, an emerging capability, team capacity, or simply the best path forward, I’m the person leaders turn to. Being that person is the most meaningful part of my work, and honestly, it’s what wakes me up in the morning.
My leadership is both strategic and deeply practical. I direct multidisciplinary teams across digital teaching and learning, instructional design, enterprise learning systems, professional development, technical support, assessment, accessibility, and implementation, in a multi-campus environment serving thousands of learners and hundreds of faculty. I manage budgets and multi-year vendor relationships, lead pilots and technology evaluations, and use both numbers and real conversations to judge whether something is actually working.
My work has always been cross-functional. I’ve led institution-wide projects, chaired advisory committees, workgroups, and task forces, and partnered with executive leaders, IT, faculty, and end users to move complicated work forward without losing the people inside it. My approach is simple: listen first, look honestly at what’s already in place, name the real gaps, and recommend something the team can actually run.
Today I lead AI strategy and adoption, oversee the institution’s digital and online learning and educational technology department, manage compliance for web content accessibility and inclusive course design, and coordinate assessment and data tracking across more than 40 service departments. I design learning and development with a UX and LX lens, train and facilitate across modalities, and produce video and media that helps the work feel human.
Earlier in my career I led new student programs for master’s and doctoral students, owning admissions, recruitment, enrollment, and matriculation all the way through degree conferral, along with enrollment operations, dashboards and reporting, and enterprise system implementation. The skills travel. What I do moves the needle in higher education, and translates directly into any industry that runs on people, systems, and learning.
